This past week I realised that no matter what sport that you do, you will need to get some gym time.
I have been doing more gym sessions this past year than any other year and not to bulk up but to build strength in my major muscles used for running namely the Legs, glutes and abs.
I attend Virgin Active but you can always just pull out a mat at home and do your exercise if you cannot get to a gym. My opinion sometimes is that home workouts are the best especially if you don't need an machines but any machine can be manipulated by a body weighted exercise.
