Weekend Round-up: Rest, recover, Parkrun

This past weekend at 8 in the morning I ran the Golden  Harvest Parkrun.

If you do the same Parkrun all the time you can get tired of doing the same thing and that's what happened with me and that's why at the beginning of the run I was not in the mood, so I took the first kilometre easier than I would usually and after the 1st kilometre I seen one of the athletes I coached and I couldn't let him beat me so I had to close the 500 meter gap and that's what I did, I closed the gap that seemed impossible but I really couldn't of done that without the right amount of rest and recovery.

My time at Parkrun was 21 minutes 51 seconds and I placed 13 out of 700 other park runners.
