This past weekend was a tough one in terms of running. I ran the Gerald Fox 10km race at the Johannesburg zoo.
I was the 3rd junior in my age group and 16th overall. The race was literally up then down then up throughout the race, and the pain goes straight to your knee's.

During the race I was accompanied by a Asics Frontrunner who is a great athlete and has accomplished many awards. He is a friend of a friend. He motivated me during the race because he could see I was struggling a bit which made me push myself even more than I was already pushing myself. #SheraazRuns #WeekendRound-up
