Diary of a Runner: Eid celebrations

Yesterday we celebrated Eid Al-fitr in South Africa.

Eid Al-fitr is a day of celebration because it symbolises the end of Ramadan and is known as "Festival of breaking fast".

For Eid my dad and I wake up early in the morning to get ready to go to Mosque for Eid Qiraat and Eid Salaah. That is where they talk about the meaning of Eid and what it means to us as Muslims and we do our preys.

Eid is a day of celebration and happiness and a day to spend with the family while being thankful for everything we have.

That's what we did we went to visit my Aunt and Uncle that we rarely see and spent some quality time with them and caught up with each other.
